Idol South Africa has finally been renewed for Season 19, after which the show will bow out. This was revealed on Sunday 5 February 2023 in a video clip that was posted on the official Twitter account for Idols SA.

The online auditions for Idols SA Season 19 in 2023 will begin on Sunday 12 February 2023, this is when the Idols SA Application form for 2023 will be made for all Idols hopefuls to apply one more time.
ProVerb will be returning as the presenter of Idols South Africa one more time, the judges will be Somizi Mhlongo, JR, and Thembi Seete.

It’s a very sad story that it’s the end of idols this year, after these past years I’ve been trying to enter,now they leaving us😭😭I will make sure that my application go through and I will be accepted so it says it the final season, but am ready as the forms will be available on the 12th Feb 2023,am the final winner of this season 19
