Australian Idol 2024 Top 10 revealed

The Australian Idol 2024 Top 10 contestants were revealed on Tuesday 27 February 2024 during episode 17 of Season 9.

For the past two nights (Sunday 25 and Monday 26 February 2024) during episodes 15 and 16 of Australian Idol Season 9, the Top 12 finalists performed live for Australia’s vote under the theme, “Party Anthems”.

On each of the two nights, a single contestant was saved by judges Amy Shark, Kyle Sandilands, and Marcia Hines using the ‘Judges Save’.

After the first Top 12 live show on Sunday, Dylan Wright received the ‘Judges Save’ and automatically advanced to the Top 10, he did not need Australia’s votes.

Similarly, after the second Top 12 live show on Monday, the judges used the ‘Judges Save’ to save Denvah Baker-Moller who automatically advanced to the Top 10, she did not need Australia’s votes.

The rest of the contestants in the Top 12 had to wait for the voting results from the Australian public.

Right before the Top 10 contestants were announced, the Top 12 contestants performed their new single, a rendition of “Freedom! ’90” by English singer, songwriter, and record producer, George Michael.
