For her audition, Arena McLellan performed a ballad version of “Holding Out for a Hero” by Bonnie Tyler.
She received a No from Amy Shark, a Yes from Kyle Sandilands, and initially a No from Marcia Hines but she changed her decision to a Yes after being persuaded by Kyle.
At the end of the audition day, Arena had a Sing-Off with Ivana Ilic to determine who would receive the Golden Ticket from the judges.
During the Sing-Off, Arena McLellan performed “Titanium” by David Guetta featuring Sia.
The judges were not fully impressed with Arena’s Sing-Off performance, and thus they did not give her a Golden Ticket to the Top 30 thereby ending her journey on the show.
