Jet is self-taught on piano and guitar and in 2022, he entered a school original singing and songwriting competition with his first original song “Realise”.

Audition

During the auditions, Jet Cameron performed “This City” by Sam Fischer.

And by the way, Jet Cameron received a shock when Sam Fischer walked on stage during his performance of the artist’s song “This City”.

Jet received three ‘Yeses’ from judges Marcia Hines, Amy Shark, and Kyle Sandilands.

At the end of the audition day, the judges gave Jet Cameron a Golden Ticket to the Top 30.

Top 30

During the Top 30 week, there were three performance challenges namely; “Chorus Line Challenge”, “Group Challenge”, and “Solo Challenge”.

Part 1

For the “Chorus Line Challenge”, Jet Cameron was in a group with Kym Miaco, Saoirse Harding, Prayer Corby, and Isaac McCallum.

He sang “Grenade” by Bruno Mars and was put On Notice by the judges but later advanced to the second challenge of the Top 30 Week.

Part 2

For the “Group Challenge”, Jet Cameron was in a group with Olivia Britton and Imogen Spendlove.

He sang “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” by Mark Ronson featuring Miley Cyrus and was put On Notice by the judges and eventually eliminated from the competition.
