South Africa’s Got Talent is back for a 9th season, bigger and better than ever.

Primedia Studios, the production and distribution division of African entertainment giant Primedia, will create a new 14-part series of SA’s Got Talent for public broadcaster SABC.

Whether you are a magician, singer, dancer, comedian, or anything in between, start practicing your act and get ready to take the stage because this is your chance to showcase your skills to Mzansi and win the R500,000 grand prize.

• You must be a South African citizen or permanent resident
• There is no age limit

How to apply for SA’s Got Talent

There are two ways to apply, Online and In person.

Online application

Below is how to apply online for SA’s Got Talent 2024;

1. Visit the official SA’s Got Talent website
2. Fill out the online application form
3. Upload a video of your audition performance, it should be no longer than three minutes
4. Submit your application

In person

• Just attend one of the pre-auditions in Johannesburg, Durban, or Cape Town.

What are the judges looking for?

The judges are looking for talent, star quality, and originality. They want to see something that will wow them and leave the audience wanting more.

Therefore you must be creative and brave – show them what you’ve got.

• Practice, practice, practice! Make sure you know your act inside and out.

What should you do after applying?

Just be patient, if you are accepted in the open auditions, you will be invited to audition in front of the judges on television with a live audience.

The audition dates for SA’s Got Talent Season 9 have not yet been announced, but the dates will likely be between April and May 2024.
