During the auditions, Hayley Mengel performed “I Said Hi” by Amy Shark.
She received two ‘Yeses’ from judges Marcia Hines and Amy Shark, and a ‘No’ from Kyle Sandilands. This was enough for her to make it to the Australian Idol waiting room in a bid to get a Golden Ticket.
