Clash of the Choirs South Africa is back for Season 4 in 2023 after a seven-year break from our television screens.

In the past, Clash of the Choirs South Africa auditions have only been open for choirs, but the good news now is that the show is also accepting solo singers too, possibly due to the cancellation of Idols South Africa.

The above statement simply means that you do not have to be in a choir, you can audition to be part of a choir that will be formed from your province to compete in the show.

The show’s reach has also been extended as auditions are being held in all nine provinces of South Africa for the first time.

Mzansi Magic is therefore looking for 16 or more individuals from each province that will form a choir from all 9 provinces of South Africa.

The new season of Clash of the Choirs will premiere on Mzansi Magic, on Sunday 24 September 2023, at 6 p.m.

Entries for Clash of the Choirs SA opened on Wednesday 21 June and will close on Tuesday 15 August 2023 at midnight.

However, Mzansi Magic reserves the right to extend the closing date and time if they feel necessary.

Clash of the Choirs SA 2023 prize money

The winning choir will be rewarded with a grand prize of R1 million at the grand finale.
