Australian Idol audition requirements

There is an eligibility criteria for a chance to audition for Australian Idol Season 10, therefore the below requirements must be fulfilled:

• The Australian Idol age limit is that you must be 15 to 35 years old (as of Tuesday 1 October 2024)
• The participant must be an Australian, New Zealand citizen or current permanent resident in either country
• The participant must not have any existing contract with any other TV show or record label

Then proceed by sharing a public link to the singer you think should audition for the show and the Australian Idol producers will reach out.

Please ensure that the person you are nominating must be 15 to 30 years old and an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Nominee details

You will now be required to provide the following details about the person that you are nominating;

Their name

Here you have to provide the full name of the person that you are nominating for the Australian Idol auditions

A link to a video of the person singing

Here you are required to provide a link to a video of the person you are nominating singing, this link should be public and not password-protected.

This link may be a YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram link, or a file-transfer service link (for example Google Drive, iCloud, or WeTransfer)

Their social media

Here you are required to provide a social media link or social media username of the individual that you are nominating for Australian Idol auditions.

This can be Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or TikTok.

A reason why you think they should be the next Australian Idol?

Here you are required to briefly give a reason why you think the person you are nominating should be the next winner of Australian Idol.
