Idols SA 2023 Top 7: Season 19 contestants revealed

The Idols SA 2023 Top 7 contestants of Season 19 have been announced today in episode 12 of the season on Saturday 23 September 2023.

This comes after the announcement of the Top 8 last week in episode 11 of the season.

The Idols SA 2023 Top 7 contestants of Season 19 are; Nkosi, Niikiey, Faith, Thando, Princess, Envic, and Thabo.

On a sad note, 28-year-old Sena Mkhwanazi from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal has been eliminated from Idols SA Season 19 after securing the least amount of votes this week.

Guest Performance

The Showstopper live show was opened with a guest performance from 2Point1, Ntate Stunna, and Nthabi Sings who performed their lit single, “Stimela”.

Group Performance

The Season 19 Top 8 contestants then took on the Idols SA live stage for a group performance.

Idols SA 2023 Top 7 Performances

This week’s live performances were themed, “Showstopper”, which saw the Idols SA Season 19 Top 7 contestants deliver an extravaganza worthy of the last Idols SA showstopper.

Nkosi

Nkosi performed “Good Kisser” by Usher.

Niikiey

Niikiey performed “The Way Kungakhona” by Bongo Maffin.

Faith

Faith performed “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars.

Thando

Thando performed “Caught Up” by Usher.

Princess

Princess has continued to score high praise for her ability to dive into different sounds without losing her distinct tone, style, and vibe.

Tonight, Princess performed her own rendition of “Criminal” by DJ Mshega featuring Lady Zamar.

Envic

Envic performed “Crazy in Love” by Beyoncé featuring Jay-Z.

Thabo

Thabo performed “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson.
