Australian Idol 2023 Top 12 Contestants Revealed
The Australian Idol 2023 (Season 8) Top 12 Contestants (Finalists) have all been revealed following the Top 24 Week that spanned three rounds in three nights.
Australian Idol 2023 Top 12 list
The Australian Idol Season 8 Top 12 contestants (finalists) in 2023 are;
- Amali Dimond
- Royston Sagigi-Baira
- Anya Hynninen
- Ben Sheehy
- Sash Seabourne
- Maya Weiss
- Phoebe Stewart
- Harry Hayden
- Josh Hannan
- Jasey Fox
- Noora H
- Angelina Curtis
After being revealed on Tuesday 14 February 2023 in episode 9 of the season, the Top 24 contestants were then divided into three groups of eight.
The first group consisted of Bec Voysey, James Vawser, Piper Butcher, Ben Sheehy, Anya Hynninen, Noah Cookson, Royston Sagigi-Baira, and Amali Dimond. All these eight contestants performed on Sunday 19 February 2023 in episode 10 of the season.
The judges then picked out four contestants to advance to the Top 12, these are Amali Dimond, Royston Sagigi-Baira, Ben Sheehy, and Anya Hynninen who actually received a “Touchdown” from judge Amy Shark.
The second group of the Top 24 consisted of Kristie Baillie, Damien Agius, Harry Hayden, Phoebe Stewart, Cooper Turnbull, Naomi Gipey, Maya Weiss, and Sash Seabourne. This group of contestants performed on Monday 20 February 2023 in episode 11 of the season.
From group two, the judges then selected Sash Seabourne, Maya Weiss, Phoebe Stewart, and Harry Hayden to advance to the Top 12 with Maya Weiss and Phoebe Stewart receiving “Touchdowns” from judges Kyle Sandilands, and Meghan Trainor respectively.
And lastly, the third group of the Top 24 performed today on Tuesday 21 February 2023 in episode 12 of the season. This group consisted of Sara Houston, Peter Karagounis, Angelina Curtis, Bobby Holmes, Noora H, Jasey Fox, Josh Hannan, and Sharin Attamimi.
From group 3, Josh Hannan, Noora H, Jasey Fox, and Angelina Curtis managed to advance to the Top 12 with 15-year-old Angelina Curtis receiving a “Touchdown” from judge Harry Connick Jr.
