Australian Idol 2023 Judges Save: Who did the judges save?

During the live performances stage of Australian Idol Season 8, the four judges, Amy Shark, Harry Connick Jr., Kyle Sandilands, and Meghan Trainor have the privilege of saving one singer whose performance they think stood out from all the rest.

This simply means that the contestant the judges save receives immunity from the voting exercise and automatically advances to the next stage.

Who have the Australian Idol 2023 judges saved?

The Australian Idol 2023 judges have so far saved three contestants namely; Phoebe Stewart, Noora H, and Josh Hannan.

Top 8

The Australian Idol Season 8 Top 8 contestants performed live in episode 17 on Sunday 12 March 2023, the judges then saved Josh Hannan who had performed “Fix You” by Coldplay. This means that Josh Hannan advanced directly to the Top 6.

Josh Hannan was saved by the judges in episode 17 on Sunday 12 March 2023.

Top 10

The Australian Idol Season 8 Top 10 contestants performed live in episode 15 on Sunday 5 March 2023, the judges then saved Noora H who had performed “The Voice Within” by Christina Aguilera. This meant that Noora H advanced directly to the Top 8.

Noora H was saved by the judges in episode 15 on Sunday 5 March 2023.

Top 12

After the Top 12 contestants performed live in episode 13 on Sunday 26 February 2023, the judges saved Phoebe Stewart who had performed “Beneath Your Beautiful” by Labrinth ft. Emeli Sandé. This meant that Phoebe Stewart automatically advanced to the Top 10 contestants.
