The Australian Idol 2023 Top 10 contestants have been revealed today on Monday 27 February 2023 during episode 14 of Season 8.

Last night on Sunday 26 February 2023 during episode 13 of Australian Idol Season 8, the Top 12 finalists performed live for Australia’s vote under the theme, “Global Number One Hits”.

After the live show, Phoebe Stewart received the judges’ vote and advanced straight to the Top 10 stage, she did not need Australia’s votes.

We managed to catch up with Phoebe Stewart who had the following to say;

It feels great to be safe but I just can’t imagine what everyone else is going through and I’m just so lucky that I got this opportunity to go straight through.

The rest of the contestants in the Top 12 had to wait for the voting results from the Australian public.

Australian Idol 2023 Top 10 list

The Australian Idol 2023 Top 10 contestants are;

  • Phoebe Stewart
  • Anya Hynninen
  • Royston Sagigi-Baira
  • Angelina Curtis
  • Sash Seabourne
  • Amali Dimond
  • Josh Hannan
  • Harry Hayden
  • Noora H
  • Ben Sheehy

So what happened is that four contestants found themselves in the Bottom Four of the voting results after the 24-hour voting period this week, these contestants are; Noora H, Maya Weiss, Ben Sheehy, and Jasey Fox.

The above four mentioned singers then had to perform live tonight during episode 14 of season 8 to show Australia why they should make it through to the Top 10.

Jasey Fox kicked off tonight’s last-chance performances as he tackled “Waking Up In Vegas” by Katy Perry.

Next on stage was Maya Weiss who delivered her own rendition of “Titanium” by David Guetta featuring Sia.

Ben Sheehy then performed “River Deep, Mountain High” by Ike and Tina Turner.

And lastly, Noora H stepped on the Australian Idol live stage and performed “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston.

While the bottom four singers eagerly waited for the voting results of Australia’s Vote, judge Meghan Trainor stepped on the live stage for a guest performance, she performed her hit single, “Made You Look”.

After Meghan Trainor’s massive performance, the voting results of Australia’s Vote were announced.

Ben Sheehy and Noora H were announced as the last two singers to make it into the Top 10 of season 8.

On a sad note, today we said goodbye to Jasey Fox and Maya Weiss who did not make it into the Australian Idol Season 8 Top 10.

We will hear from both Maya Weiss and Jasey Fox in the future, no doubt.

Australian Idol Season 8 continues Sunday 5 March 2023 at 7 p.m. on Channel 7 and 7plus.
