American Idol

After fifteen seasons, American Idol aired for its final season on FOX in 2016. ABC then acquired the rights to the show and renewed it for Season 16.

In September 2017, it was announced that Luke Bryan was joining Katy Perry and Lionel Richie as a judge for the revival of American Idol on ABC.

To date, Bryan has served as a judge on the show.
