Marcia Elaine Hines (born July 20, 1953), is an American-born Australian singer and television personality.
She is a judge on Australian Idol and one of the original judges on the show from way back in 2003.

Marcia Hines has one child, a daughter, the singer Deni Hines. In 2006, they teamed up and performed the duet single “Stomp!”.
Australian Idol
Marcia Hines is one of the original Australian Idol judges from Season 1 in 2003.
She went on to serve as a judge on the show until the show was cancelled by Network Ten after seven seasons in 2009.
In 2022, Seven Network acquired rights to Australian Idol and revived the show for an eighth season which aired in 2023.
On Sunday 29 January 2023, Channel 7 announced that Marcia Hines would join Australian Idol Season 8 as a guest judge for the Top 50 performance week.
On Wednesday 18 October 2023, it was announced that Marcia Hines would join Amy Shark and Kyle Sandilands as a main judge in Season 9.
