Idols SA Season 9 Top 16 Contestants Revealed
The Idols SA Season 9 Top 16 contestants were revealed on Sunday 8 September 2013, consisting of eight males and eight females.
They may be in the Top 16 but the battle to perform at the Spectaculars is not over for them yet, they are now preparing themselves for a final battle to make the Top 10.
The eight male contestants in the Top 16 will perform for the viewers votes on Sunday 15 September 2013 at the State Theatre in Tshwane, voting for them will then close on Monday night (16 September 2013) at 10 p.m. Their voting results will be announced during this season’s first live Results Show on Tuesday 17 September 2013.
The female contestants in the Top 16 will perform the following week on Sunday 22 September 2013 and their voting results will be announced during the live Results Show on Tuesday 24 September 2013.
During each of the above-stated live Results Shows, the three contestants with the least amount of votes will be eliminated from the competition and sent home, leaving the Top 10 who will go on to the Idols SA Spectaculars which will be held at the Moreleta Park Church in Tshwane.
