Ethan Beckton | The Voice Australia

Ethan Beckton is an Australian landscaper, singer, and songwriter from Lisarow, New South Wales.

He was a contestant on The Voice Australia Season 12 in 2023 where he reached the grand finale and finished as a runner-up alongside Charlie Pittman and Ezra Williams behind the winner Tarryn Stokes.

He is 18 years old.

Ethan attended Lisarow High School in Lisarow, New South Wales.

Ethan has actually never had any music lessons, he learned everything from the internet.

He is also a BMX rider with a singing secret.

During the blind auditions, Ethan performed his own rendition of “Jealous” by Labrinth.

His performance was so good that he turned four chairs, in addition to earning him a standing ovation from the audience and all four coaches (Rita Ora, Jason Derulo, Jessica Mauboy, and Guy Sebastian).

Coach Rita Ora was left ‘speechless’ by Becton’s performance, while a visibly happy Jason Derulo stated: “Now that is a perfect audition. I was looking for someone just like you.”

Ethan joined Team Jason.
