Michaela Jayde.

Michaela Jayde is an Australian Soul/RnB vocalist from Melbourne, Victoria.

She was a contestant on The Voice Australia Season 12 in 2023.

Michaela is 35 years old at the time of participating on The Voice Australia.

She is married to 36-year-old Bryce Marshall, a firefighter, and they have two children.

Michaela comes from a family of singers where she was the backing vocalist for her successful songwriter brother.

She is a dynamic and formidable performer who has made her mark in Melbourne’s vibrant music scene for over a decade, with her infectious energy and powerful voice.

A highly versatile performer, Michaela’s work has taken many forms over the years, and her growing reputation has seen her become one of the city’s most sought-after Soul/RnB vocalists.

In her music career so far, Michaela has performed and recorded with artists, such as Tones & I, Stan Walker, Samantha Jade, Kylie Auldist, Mantra, Ben Abraham, Thando, WILSN, Emily Williams, and many more. This has led her to several TV appearances, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Sound, and Studio10.

While focusing on her family, Michaela’s music career took a backseat as her husband’s night shifts as a firefighter made her role as a mother more prominent.

After 15 years of singing professionally, Michaela had lost confidence in pursuing a music career and joined The Voice Australia 2023 to reclaim her passion.

During the Blind Auditions, Michaela performed “Who’s Lovin’ You” by The Jackson 5.

She got four chair turns from the coaches (Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, Rita Ora, and Jason Derulo) and chose to join Team Guy.
