The Idols SA live show kicked off with a lovely ray of sunshine as we celebrated love with Simmy’s infectious joint, ‘Ngiyesaba’.
Nolo performed first and he completely did justice to ‘Close The Door’ by Teddy Pendergrass.
Then came Virginia who performed ‘Yim Okhthandayo’ by Linda Gcwensa.
Mmangaliso then proved to us why she’s so rare with a powerful performance of ‘Be Without You’ by Mary J Blige.
Next on stage was Luyolo who gave us a heartwarming and fitting homage to Thami Shobede with ‘I Love You.
Micayla performed next and she totally killed off her performance of ‘Run To You’ by Whitney Houston.
Viggy then did justice to Thee Legacy’s song titled ‘S’thandwa Sami’, We then said our goodbyes to Nqobile Gumede as we bid farewell to her after being booted out of the competition.
Sneziey then performed ‘Have You Ever’ by Brandy and she even received a wooshem.
Ihashi Elimhlophe then closed off the live show with a performance that proved why he’s been a mainstay for 20+ years.
