David Aumua is an Australian singer and youth worker from Brisbane, Queensland. He was a contestant on The Voice Australia Season 12 in 2023.
He is 24 years old.
Aumua comes from a supportive family of 13 members.
David revealed to the coaches that his weight insecurities had prevented him from pursuing music until now.
During the Blind Auditions, David performed his own rendition of “You Say” by Lauren Daigle.
He got four chair turns from the coaches Guy Sebastian, Rita Ora, Jessica Mauboy, and Jason Derulo.
Coach Jessica Mauboy then BLOCKED Guy Sebastian.
David Aumua chose to join Team Jess.
