Zahn-Reece Malgas performed ‘Superstar’ by The Carpenters and Luther Vandross.

This tune was a hit in 1969 for Delaney and Bonnie and was then memorably covered by The Carpenters in 1971 (after they’d seen Bette Midler perform it on the Johnny Carson show). The late, great Luther Vandross recorded a seminal version for his 2001 ‘The Ultimate Luther Vandross’.
