Bright and social, Melbourne criminal law student Tez is a Survivor super fan with big plans to take out the game.

Raised on a farm in regional Victoria, Tez moved to Melbourne with his sister when he was just 14.

And with an illustrious career in law on the horizon, he intends to use his skills in communication, negotiation, and advocacy to succeed in the game of Survivor.

“Survivor is a social game. If you’re not able to form strong social bonds, you’re probably in trouble.”

Tez, 25, says his biggest strength in the game will be his social ability, joking that he can make friends with a brick wall. An avid sportsman and marathon runner, he also brings incredible endurance to the game.

A self-proclaimed super fan who has watched every season of Australian Survivor, he’s studied challenges from across the years. “Knowing the game is going to give me a huge edge in Survivor because I know the different strategies. I know what moves need to be made.”

Determined to prove those who dismiss him as wrong, Tez isn’t concerned about ruffling a few feathers.

“Survivor will be like being at a Greek wedding. It’s loud, it’s dramatic, it’s over the top, and you never know what you’re going to get. So I will be breaking a few plates.”
