Idols SA Season 12 Top 4 Contestants’ New York Trip
The Idols SA season 12 Top 4 contestants, Terra Cox, Noma Khumalo, Tebogo Louw and Thami Shobede departed to New York for a trip courtesy of Idols SA, accompanied by ProVerb and Gareth Cliff right after their Top 4 performances on Sunday 6 November 2016.
The contestants visited the Apollo Theatre, a venue famed with launching the careers of African American legends such as Whitney Houston Michael Jackson and James Brown.
From sight-seeing to run-ins with South African legendary trumpeter, flugelhornist, cornetist, singer and composer, Hugh Masekela.
They also had some TV appearance where they were interviewed by actor and former Idols USA judge, Harry Connick Jr.
ProVerb, Gareth Cliff and The Top 4 contestants met and interacted with Harry Connick JR after guest appearing on his day time talk show.
And the nostalgia didn’t stop there. The show’s current presenter, ProVerb, ran into it’s former presenter, Colin Moss and managed to capture the moment.
ProVerb and the Top 4 contestants were also hosted at the South African Consulate in New York for a Meet and Greet.
The season 12 Top four contestants enjoyed a 72-hour whirlwind visit to New York and we must say this, they really enjoyed the trip so much, but they are now back in the country and are preparing for this weekend’s Top 3 reveal live show.
