Meet the top 3 contestants of Idols SA Season 14

The Idols SA 2018 top 3 contestants have finally been revealed..

Today’s Idols SA live show kicked off with duet pairings after which Karabo Mogane and Thando made our hearts flutter and spines tingle with a tender and convincing take on ‘The Closer I Get to You’ by Luther Vandross and Beyonce, their performance indeed left the judges hypnotised.

Next on stage were King B and Mmatema Moremi who gave us the thunderous vocals we were all waiting for with ‘Smother’ by Craig Lucas and Paxton, we hope they blew you away too.

The next performance was from Thato and Amanda Black whose voices blended immaculately and they continued the string of top-notch performances we’ve seen tonight with Linda’s ‘Ngamthanda Umuntu’.

Today’s last duet came from Yanga and Khaya Mthethwa and they made us feel that unmistakable Disney magic with an uplifting performance of Ariana Grande and John Legend’s version of ‘Beauty & The Beast’.

And after the four duets, it was time for the sad news of the evening. It became the end of the road for King B and obviously a tough elimination to grapple with as everyone else is headed to Dubai.

Sjava and label-mate Saudi then stepped on stage for their performance, they then just lifted our spirits after what was undoubtedly a tough elimination for many. So did you love that performance of ‘Abanjani’ too?

For her solo performance of the evening, Thando gave us some fierce choreography and completely let loose performing ‘Never Say Never’ by her Idol, Justin Bieber. We hope that you are inspired by her growth and confidence.

Next on stage was Thato who was so effortlessly soulful and proved why he’s the “King of Song Choice” with a beautifully sung cover ‘Thandiwe’ by Vusi Nova, he actually caused a stir with his mustard pants and honestly we’re obsessed with the look.

And to close the night, Yanga did a fantastic job of flaunting what a versatile artist she is closing the show in spectacular fashion with ‘Mkulumsebenzi’ by Khaya Mthethwa.
