NOTE: 29-year-old Nonhle Mhlongo from Durban was supposed to be in the Top 16 but she withdrew from the competition because of a clash of commitments. She had signed a recording contract a couple of months before auditioning for Idols South Africa and wasn’t able to organize a temporary release from it to pursue Idols SA. The judges conferred and unanimously decided to give her spot to 21-year-old Amanda Antony from Port Elizabeth.
