After 70 days (10 weeks) of Big Brother Mzansi on South Africa’s TV screens, the hit reality TV show finally came to the grand finale day.

Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 Winner

The Big Brother Mzansi 2025 winner is 23-year-old Akhonamathemba Mbele, also known as Sweet Guluva, a student living in Cape Town, Western Cape.

He was crowned the winner on Sunday 23 March 2025 after receiving the most votes (53.48%) from the voting viewers during the grand finale week.

We had predicted that Sweet Guluva would win because he has always been at the top of the official voting results and all the online voting polls since the show kicked off way back in January 2025.

The Big Brother Mzansi 2025 winner, Sweet Guluva has won a grand prize of R2 million and many other prizes from M-Net and Mzansi Magic, and the other sponsors of the show like LottoStar and Chillers Punch.
