3 More Idols SA 2017 Auditions

Idols SA 2017 Season 13 Auditions

Good news for those who are aspiring to be part of Mzansi’s biggest reality show! Telkom takes their promise to bring you closer to Idols SA further by supporting three more auditions in Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and Polokwane.

Due to widespread demand, SA’s most popular talent search, Idols SA has extended its 2017 auditions to three more cities: Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, and Polokwane respectively. With the initial audition regions now completed, there’s still a chance for aspiring musicians who missed out, to get involved via the additional three towns.

Idols SA will arrive in Port Elizabeth on Saturday 11 February, be in Bloemfontein on Sunday 12 February, and round up the Telkom-powered mini tour in Polokwane on Saturday, 18 February. But here’s where it gets interesting: only the first 200 people will be auditioned in each city.

Auditions will take place strictly from 7AM – 1PM, so it’s going to be a race to the head of the line this time around. This move is made possible by Telkom, and only those who are really hungry for this opportunity will fight for their chance under the spotlight.

The Eastern Cape Auditions will take place at Port Elizabeth, The Boardwalk Casino at Beach Road. The Free State Auditions will kick off the next day at Bloemfontein’s Mimosa Mall, on the Melville Drive side and the Polokwane Auditions will take place at the Capricorn FM Studios – 11 Pierre Street, Hampton Court, Polokwane.

Mzansi Magic’s Head of Reality, Sphumelele Sibeko commented on the surprise move by the channel, “Every year we try to reach as many South Africans as possible, budget constraints and logistics do not always allow us to reach everyone, but based on the public’s pleas this year, we’ve decided to come to the three additional provinces – emphasising the fact that Idols SA is a search to find THE COUNTRY’S best.”
